I had a lot of fun making this single needle heart rose and banner tattoo for Dani. I made a design in advance and we refined it at her appointment, the design is approximately 3.5 inches wide and the total time was around 3 and a half hours. The tattoo is a memorial for her dog Mimi Louise. Single needle designs are a great option if you want fine detail and soft shading with out making a large tattoo, and also offer a very refined look not always possible in other styles. Single needle tattoos require the same aftercare as normal tattoos, but can heal faster due to less trauma while tattooing.
